These are great! They washed just fine in the dishwasher. I placed as recommended on the bottom (as top rack doesn’t fit as bottles too tall to stand up). You place on bottom so the top part is only on one prong and also as far away as possible from heating elements. For us that was placing it smack in middle of bottom rack. It cleaned great! No melting at all! Now I know all bottles are truly clean! It would totally skeeve me out hand washing bottles and not quite getting the bottoms clean enough on other bottles. Also these are slightly bigger & wider than the older bottles too! Love the bigger fatter shape to them as well as the strip on the bottom is a thicker cleaner design and the bottle itself as slight bluish tint. So when you open fridge the bottles even look nicer! So cleaner & nicer & dishwasher safe! I replaced all old bottles!

These work great and are a fit the Sodastram ART as well as come older models. What I like best is they are dishwasher safe finally! These seem really durable, but for safety have an expiration date. I think the concert is they may pop after time. Color looks good.

These bottles fit perfectly with the classic SodaStream devices, but they're also great for other uses. I typically clean them out with something like a Polident denture cleaning tablet, rinse five times, and then make soda, lemonade, etc. in them. As long as you don't scratch the inside of them somehow, or leave some other method of letting bubbles form (nucleation sites) your soda should remain crisp- I think hard water might cause your soda to fizz out prematurely?

Update 13Nov 25 Sodastream got in contact with me and sent replacement lids. Now that the bottles have the lids they function as intended. Im happy with the bottles being shorter (still holding the same amount of liquid as the taller bottles) as they fit better in my shelves. When received initially: Bottles are in a state that render it unusable. Without the lids the bottles cannot hold any carbonation for very long.

Nice, durable, but expensive. Will melt in very hot water

We got a Sodastream and we’re loving it however the washing of the bottles was a lot especially as a family of 4. I was so excited to find these dishwasher safe bottles however after the second time through the dishwasher 2 out of our 4 bottles have melted and are no long able to be used on the Sodastream.

Love the Sodastream, especially now that it has real soda flavors like Pepsi and Mountain Dew. These bottles are great; however, do not put them in the bottom of your dishwasher or wash them by hand, if you can, they may melt. Real quick, put in water to the fill line, fiss it in the sodastream, and add the syrup, and gently shake the bottle. Makes 24 ounces of soda in a few minutes at best, just add ice.

The bottle is almost useless as I can just do the gasification but I can't store the sparkling water.

After a few washes (top tack) bottles are still crystal clear. No melting or warping on the bases. Base is a little wider so vehicle cupholders are a challenge. Otherwise we like them.
