I picked up a couple of these as I ran RG6 cable behind my walls for my subwoofers. Of course, most audio systems use an RCA connection for the receiver-to-subwoofer. This allows me to use high quality coax cable and then convert it back to RCA to connect my subwoofer. I can also use two of these with 2 RG6 cables to send stereo audio signals down to my low voltage box in the basement. It does everything I need it to do (which is essentially terminate an RG6 cable to an RCA connection). I only give it 4 starts because I felt it was a little pricey.

Works great for running an RCA signal over RG6 coaxial cable. I used this to run a audio input from my Sonos controller in my basement to my entertainment center. Very easy to work with and the gold plating should help the signal to be optimal.

I was looking for a coax to RCA for a wall plate. It was for a project at work and this one worked great.
