I'm not sure that the double concentrated description makes that much difference in richness over some standard concentrated versions that I've tried. However, this is a very fine product. I like the fact that Mutti does not add citric acid. The tube is a handy way of dispensing a small amount of paste in a recipe for one or two servings without opening a larger jar or can. I'm very happy with this brand.

I love to cook and bake. Main courses using fresh produce are very important, inuding tomatoes and tomato products. Love Italian dishes and this product provides exceptional flavor as well as convenience when cooking for only one or two people. Keeps well in refrigerator without noticeable change in flavor or consistency.

Works really well when you need just a little. Great idea. Love it.very easy to use. Package not damaged, last a long time. I don't know about the return policy never had to return. Always been good.

Handy way to store tomato paste, wonder if I'll get all of it out of the container

I make the Jon and Vinny’s spicy rigatoni pretty frequently and love the taste this tomato paste adds to the dish.

This Mutti tomato paste is very tasty and not too salty. It is full of robust fresh tomato flavor. I, though, do not cook nearly enough and cannot use the tube within the recommended 20 days after opening. Alas, I thought this would solve the issue of when I open a can of tomato paste and use two tablespoons just to waste the rest. I still have a dilemma of wasted food and wasted money, but not sure I can go back to the inferior cheaper canned tomato paste after tasting this deliciousness.

Believe me, I am Italian: Mutti only uses Italian tomatoes picked at the right maturing point, and no slavery work involved. Most of the tomatoes pastes are made with tomatoes coming from China, picked by work exploited slaves, and on the top of that taste awfully bitter. Go with Mutti if you want a premium product with a real tomatoe paste taste.

This product is much easier to use than trying to measure partial contents from an opened can of tomato paste. Also, no waste.
