Forget about the costly Brita cartridges that cost an arm and a leg but become ineffective after 1 week! I have been a faithful Brita user but noticed a significant decline in the quality/efficiency of their filter cartridges. I then gave the Amazon Basic Water Filter Cartridges a skeptical try and I'm thoroughly impressed. They fit my Brita Maxtra+ jug perfectly, are easy to install, and reduce the limescale and chlorine taste in my tap water. They work brilliantly, the price is unbeatable for the quality you get, and they continue to yield clean, limescale-free water significantly longer than the more expensive brands. I can say that I am sold out. 😇

It’s a great dupe product that I’ve already purchased a couple of times. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and it’s the best (more economical) alternative for very common house water filters. Easy to use and insert.I often use it for my houseplants that require softer water. Reception bought some ph testing stripes and tested the before after; as expected there was indeed some difference in the hardness of water. It doesn’t make it pure and soft like rainwater (that would be impossible) but it does bring the hardness down a number or so down, which is very satisfactory for house watering conditions.

Great value for money and fits perfectly in our Britter filter kettle and water filter jug, whilst being a fraction of the cost of the braved filters. We live in a hard water area and these filters eliminate the scum from the top of a cup of tea!
