Rainbow Sandals Women’s Flirty Braidy Premier Leather w/Single Braided Strap

I use to have pairs of brown old navy flip flops I ran into the groundddd but I have been looking for brown flip flops that are more durable. I've read online that these are comfortable and long lasting, but they are hard to break in. I am a size 6.5-7 depending on the shoe, but I also have wide & flat feet 💔 at first, i noticed the edges were cut uneven, but i looked back at other pictures and seen that it's not uncommon. i did cut them down on the edges to make it less noticeable, but it did NOT change the quality of the shoe. these shoes fit very well! they are a bit big on my foot but it's not overwhelming large so it's comfortable. the only "issue" i had while breaking them in was that the straps were tight & uncomfy. i wore them maybe twice around the house for about half an hour & since then it's been fine! no blisters or anything. i love love love these shoes! the arch support is great, better than any old navy or walmart flip flop. they match anything. if you have the money, i would definitely recommend these!

I owned a pair of these as a teen. I grew up in Orange County, CA, close to the HQs and loved my rainbows as a young adult. Now, at 30, I decided to buy my first pair in over 10+ years. I have wide and flat feet, and they originally came out with this cute, strappy, braided design when I was starting college. This style hurt my foot as a teen, because the leather was too tight. I didn't want to buy them then, but I have been seeing my friends wearing them (we live in northern California) and knew they were getting popular. I decided to buy this to see if anything had changed, and I can say, these fit me much better, and don't leave my feet looking like sausages. I am not done breaking my rainbows in, but I wear them a little at a time and make sure to step the same way so the impression of my heel doesn't get muddled. As expected from owning 3 pairs in my youth, they felt like they were rubbing my feet the wrong way on the first day. These have a bit of leather in between the toes, unlike some other styles, and that is where they rubbed me the most. After about six 45-minute sessions while wearing these, I think they feel much better. I don't feel as much rubbing, and I can wear them for longer. I finally went out with them shopping and aside from the sole being stiff, the straps don't chafe and I have a solid foot impression going. As a middle schooler, there were people who would steal shoes from our P.E. lockers. Someone tried to steal a pair of rainbows and forgot that this is a Cinderella shoe. It only matches the owner. I don't think anyone is going to steal your sandals, but just in case, you will definitely know they're yours. Beware, as a teen, I was wreckers and woukd go-to the beach with these. Not only are they NOT made for the beach, but you should avoid water altogether. The darker the leather, the more they bleed and transfer color to your feet when wet. (Sand won't hurt them much, but it may wear the leather down if you have a lot between you and your shoe). I love this style and glad I bought another pair. Will I buy another? Absolutely, in a few months, and in a different style.

I got my new Rainbow's in the mail this week. Initially I was worried to spend $50 on flip flops, but I was sick of paying $15 for a new cheap pair every summer. So I bit the bullet and shelled out $50 for these Sandals. After a week of wearing them this is what I can tell you. The look - They are super cute! the braid on the side is a nice touch, they are simple enough to wear with shorts and a tank and dressy enough to wear with a summer dress/skirt. I live in NC and lucky enough to work in a casual atmosphere, so I'm in Flip Flops all summer long so I needed something that was appropriate to wear for work and play, to dress up and down and that was going to be comfy on my foot all day. The comfort - As most of the reviewers on here say - these sandals are not comfortable right out of the box - they are a bit stiff and the thong is a bit tight but i'm sure since its leather it just needs to be broken in. The quality seems to be very good. I'l update the comfort factor in a month or so once they've broken in. Like a good pair of leather boots needs to be worked in - i'm sure once they're formed to my feet they'll be great. The size - I bought a Medium in this sandals and they are a bit narrow, thankfully i have a narrow foot so this is a non-issue for me, but use common sense, if you wear a wide width shoe most of the time, you're going to need a wider sandal - and this is not it. From the most wide part of the sandal (near the balls of your foot) it measures 3.75 inches and from the most narrow part (near the arch) it measures 2 13/16ths of an inch. In regards to sizing in general, if you visit Rainbows website you can view the sizing chart for how long the sandal is, so you'll know what size to buy. I normally wear a size 6.5, my foot is 9 inches long, I went with a Medium because "Medium Rainbows - 6.5-7.5 shoe size - 10" long" according to their website. When I measure the sandal, it is 10 inches long, but it is from the most round part at the top very edge most round part at the bottom edge (usually not space your foot is going to occupy). I'd say this is more of a 6.5-7 size shoe, not sure a 7.5 would fit, you might want to go to large for that shoe size. So far I'm happy with this sandal - I rated only 4 stars because they are not super comfy yet - if/when they break in properly, I'll come back and update this post.

I purchased these as I loved the design and arch support; however; I was very disappointed as found these uncomfortable to wear. I returned them and ended up buying cheaper thongs that were much better.

My favourite sandals for summer! Great for high arches in your feet and the leather is great quality. This is my fifth pair of rainbow sandals. They dry very quickly and work well in water. Great between your toes in the heat!

Had rave reviews from a friend who has been buying these for years so decided to get some. Read all comments on Amazon before buying and was a bit worried about the tightness issue that a lot of people commented on. I'm an UK size 5.5/6' US 71/2. Ordered the large, they are a little on the big size but absolutely fine. I followed people's advise to wet them, so got in the shower wearing them and kept them on. Absolutely fine, worked a treat. They haven't rubbed once and the braidy straps have has stayed in place without any problem. They are very comfortable and I would definitely buy them again, maybe a size smaller and in the lighter colour next time.
