The colors are excellent. Vivid and easy to get nice saturation. Have been buying them for my 4 year old since she was 2. Only issue is that they really stain. They do not wash out of clothes etc. She has a whole art station, and art clothes that we expect to get stained. Doesn't bother us now that we know and are prepared for it. There are lower quality kids paints designed to wash out well. They don't look as nice. Not worth the sacrifice in quality for us. I will continue to buy these excellent paints for my avid art creator. Skin tones set is lovely too.

I'm planning on buying Tempera cakes for my Art classroom next year but wanted to test them out before investing in an expensive class set. These are great and easy to clean up after!

These paints are great for my daughter but they do leave a little stain after trying to clean them off surfaces.

I used these last night. They produce beautiful colors. I am planning to buy more for my classroom, but not sure about the cardboard base. I have 200 students per day. I wanted an alternative to squeezing and wasting liquid tempera paints for 7 periods. With set ups for up to 37 students.
