I bought these to take on our cruise. While I still don’t love the texture of these they are 1000% times better than the edible straws on the cruise ship and for sure a paper straws. The edible straws would get gummy in no time and I didn’t enjoy chewing on it either. I think growing up my whole life with plastic straws like McDonald’s straws makes it hard to switch to any other texture but I was very happy I went ahead and purchased these and took them with us. I was a little worried about keeping them bent in their little cases and possibly permanently creasing them but they were fine and bounced right back. The cases are great to keep them clean and easy to take in the go. They take up no room at all in a bag and would even fit just fine in a pocket. The diameter of the straws are perfect and just what I wanted because that’s another thing I’m picky about. I would say the diameter of these are equivalent to your average fast food sized straw. The colors are fine. I would’ve preferred some brighter colors but at the end of the day it’s just a straw that functions the same way no matter what color. I’m so happy it came with the cleaning brushes since just rinsing the inside of the straw doesn’t quite cut it for me. I only used one straw for a week so I’m not sure how durable they are going to be but they seem well made and should hold up fine through repeated use.

These are so good. Children can suck on them with out them collapsing. The little cover makes it easy to keep it in your handbag or pocket
