ADHD BEWARE!!⚠️‼️
First things first, this is a great multivitamin. I (22F) started taking it to help treat my telogen effluvium (hair loss caused by stress/hormone changes), along with Iron-C and ashwagandha supplements from the same brand, and I’m happy to say that ALL my hair is growing back, good as new, after just a few weeks! However, there are a few things I wish I’d known before I started taking this one. First, since it’s so jam-packed with ingredients, each pill is going to be insanely potent and have a powerful, noticeable effect on your body from the moment it hits your stomach. Bear in mind, I am a HUGE skeptic when it comes to taking any kind of supplements—before I got TE, the only things I’d ever taken were Flintstones vitamins—so I was pretty suspicious of all the reviews on this one claiming that it made people jittery and energized immediately after taking just one. I thought surely these people were suffering from the placebo effect or forgetting that they’d taken it along with a cup of coffee or something equally preposterous. Boy was I wrong. These things really do slam into your system like a live wire! Unlike some of the others in this review section, I don’t find it uncomfortable or disruptive to my day-to-day in any way, but it is certainly hard to forget about. Second, the TASTE! Ugh. I have to plug my nose when I’m taking it, and I don’t let go until after I’ve swallowed, it’s that awful! It kinda tastes/smells like a stale old barnyard. Imagine the smell of hay mixed with a blossoming Bradford pear tree (the ones with the little white flowers whose odors are nothing like a pear). No bueno. But easy enough to work around if you don’t mind a slight ear-popping sensation when you swallow. Heaven forbid you have to taste a burp with it still undigested in your stomach, but that’s the worst of it. Now, I’ve saved the worst for last, and it’s directed specifically towards anyone with ADHD: DO NOT TAKE THIS AT THE SAME TIME AS YOUR MEDICATION!!! If you take a stimulant medication of any kind for any reason, PLEASE heed my warning. I’ve made this mistake twice now and both times I wished I could just die so I could escape the indescribable pain I was in. The experience only lasts about 15 minutes to half an hour, but the whole time you’ll be groaning and writhing, clutching your stomach, heavy and labored breathing, sweat literally pouring out over your entire body, as you endure an acute short version of the same kinda pain one might feel at the peak of their worst period cramp ever. If you’re a woman then you know the type of pain I’m talking about and will steer clear at any cost. If you’re a man and you have an Adderall Rx, feel free to take this multivitamin at the same time to get a feel for what menstrual pains are like, then remember the traumatic horror of it all whenever you’re tempted to roll your eyes at a woman who says she’s really going through it. It’s just awful. I don’t know exactly how or why these two pills interact with each other in such an explosive way, so I can’t give any advice on when it’s safe to take one after the other, but I haven’t had too much trouble unless I take them within 45ish minutes of each other. There was one time where I took my Adderall (30mg IR for reference) about an hour before I took my vitamins, and I did feel the tiniest brush of the same sensation, but it was just a twinge—maybe a minute or two long, and exponentially milder than the two times I took them together or nearly back to back. The worst of it was when I took the two simultaneously, like in the same handful with the same gulp of water to wash them down. The second time, I took my Adderall about 10 minutes prior to the multivitamin, and it was pretty much the same amount of pain, but it felt like it was over just a little bit faster. This leads me to suspect it has something to do with absorption or digestion rates, so from here on out I will be making absolute sure that I don’t let these things anywhere near each other in my stomach. Am I going to stop taking either of them altogether? No! But I hope my experience can serve as a cautionary tale to those in my same position and prevent them from enduring the same horrific fate.

Very good quality but taste is awful so be prepared
I would give it a 5 star because the quality of ingredients is too notch. Was originally suggested by my functional medicine doctor even! But the taste / smell is FOUL. Smells like urine. I have other types of vitamins from this brand and they smell similar so it must be the casing. I have to take them with milk because it not only helps cover the taste but helps with the stomach ache I get after taking it. DO NOT TAKE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. Atleast take them with milk… Very good for you, just tastes awful.

I asked AI what vitamins it would take if it were human
About a year ago I asked AI a simple question. If it were human and wanted to run at its best possible self what daily vitamins would it take. I wanted something realistic budget friendly and easy to maintain without stacking unnecessary supplements. I also asked it to give me direct links to each recommendation so I could buy exactly what it suggested without overthinking it. The goal was never to rely on one single supplement but to build a simple routine that covered the basics without being overwhelming or expensive. I followed the routine it recommended consistently for about a year. Recently I had routine blood work done and my doctor joked that I have the blood of an eighteen year old. My levels looked great across the board and I was not lacking in any vitamin deficiencies. I am forty. I am not claiming this is because of any one supplement but it confirmed for me that the overall approach was working. Cost ease and consistency Another reason this one stood out is the simplicity. You only take one capsule a day which matters more than people admit. I included a photo to show the size because it is a standard capsule and easy to swallow. There is a typical vitamin smell when you open the bottle but I do not notice any taste or aftertaste when taking it. I also use Subscribe and Save for this and the rest of the routine so everything automatically ships to me on a schedule. That has been a big part of why this worked long term. I do not run out and I do not forget to reorder which makes consistency easy. How I take everything I take all of these supplements together once in the morning with a full glass of water. I drink coffee throughout the morning and do not have stomach issues as long as I eat enough beforehand. If I try to take everything with too little food like just a couple hard boiled eggs I can feel a bit nauseous. When I add something with carbs like a piece of toast everything sits well. For me having some carbs with these makes a noticeable difference. Taking everything at once has made this routine simple and easy to maintain. The full routine for anyone who wants it You do not need to read this section if you are just curious about this one supplement but I wanted to include it for anyone who likes seeing the full picture. Vitamin D paired with K2 Foundational support for overall wellness bone health and immune support. These were positioned as non negotiable. Omega 3 Supports heart brain and joint health and covers general inflammation support. Collagen Supports joints skin hair and connective tissue which many diets do not consistently cover. Magnesium Supports muscle function relaxation and overall calm including sleep quality. L theanine Supports calm focus without feeling jittery or sedating. B complex Supports energy production and stress response without stimulants. Zinc Supports immune health and basic cellular function. Multivitamin Helps fill smaller nutritional gaps and acts as a base layer for the rest of the routine. L tyrosine Supports focus and motivation and became one I take consistently. Alpha Brain This was originally recommended as optional and situational. I did try it, but it made me feel jittery and mentally scattered rather than focused, so I removed it from my routine. Since it was optional, removing it did not create a gap or require replacing it. Bottom line This routine worked because it covered foundational needs without excess. Everything had a purpose nothing felt extreme and it was flexible enough to adapt to what my body did or did not need. This multivitamin was never meant to be the only supplement I take but it acts as a base layer that helps cover smaller nutritional gaps while the rest of the routine supports more specific areas. I have not felt the need to add anything beyond this routine and the blood work simply confirmed what consistency already showed me. This felt like supporting my body rather than trying to hack it.
