Haven't Ever Failed
Used these for the off-road lights on the front of my jeep wrangler and the license plate lighte on the spare tire on the back. Been on there for 4 years now. The license plate light gets unplugged and replugged every tire rotation. Easy install, and have never failed in 4 years. I am buying more for a lighting project for my pickup because I cannot find the unused ones. I recommend these for great reliability and value.

I use the heck out of these connectors!
Ever since I found this type of connector, I use them on most anything that I might think may have to come apart. Lights / relays / switches / etc. Keeps things neat and simple. You have to have some decent eyesight, and preferably a good wire crimper. I haven't had any issues with these, and keep LOTS of them on hand in all different pin configurations (2 / 3 / 4 pin)! They work best on probably 18 ga wire, but I have used them successfully on 16 and 14 gauge, you just have to use a bit more patience and finesse to get the crimp right.Slide the yellow silicone water barrier up over your wire. Then strip a tiny bit off the end of your wire, slide it into the 'cradle' of the little metal pin, use a small pair of needle nose to push the forward 'flaps' over the exposed wire (your insulation should be butted up to these). Use a good crimp to squeeze these 'flaps' onto your wire (or just use your needle nose if you don't have a crimper). Then the rearward 'flaps' will fold over onto the insulation ( squeeze these down too) to help hold everything. The only thing I have to do (usually twice!) is figure out which way the pin will slide in and lock. You'll know it when it's right. It'll click into place.Love these connectors, especially after I figured out the best way to install. Just takes a bit of practice to get it right, but I don't install anything on my Jeep without these anymore!

Nice, weather-resistant connectors for most DIY electrical/electronics uses
First off, the connectors are nicely made. The plastic molds for the male/female connectors are solid, hefty and devoid of plastic 'flashing' found on less expensive connectors. Secondly, the yellow plastic/rubber-like weather resistant gaskets are easy to install and appear to be well made. Overall, the connectors have a nice fit and finish, look and feel well made and appear to keep out the elements, as described. I will see if I can post a follow-up to this review or add a section describing my experience with the connectors over the next 6-months. I installed a few connectors in my Fiat X1/9 restoration project for rear tail light, side markers and brake lights. Although not directly exposed to the elements, I went for good quality connectors to join rear automotive lights to my wiring harness because it makes future repairs/removal/reinstallation easier. Assembling the connectors was not difficult but I would recommend watching a couple of videos on the process if you are not familiar with these style of connectors. It can take several minutes to strip the wires, crimp and (or) solder the pins to the cable but it isn't terrible. It might be frustrating when aligning/orienting the assembled wire pins to the connector housing but if you take your time and make sure the orientation is correct, they generally slide in and lock into place, easily. If the wire you are using is thin wire-gauge or ultra-flexible stranded, you might need a fine pair of needle nosed pliers to help lock the pins into the connectors. If I could rate the connectors 4.5 out of 5, I would. My only complaint is that some pins wont lock into place and require using a different pin. That is not a common issue but I did experience it with one of the 10 connectors I installed. It might have been user error but it is something I wanted to point out. The connectors are good up to 18AWG but it will vary based on the type of wire and insulation material/thickness used. Overall, the connectors are well made, assemble easily and make solid contact mechanically and electrically.

Good connectors, will take practice to get perfect.
These are exactly what I was looking for. I wasted a few of them because I'm still learning how to properly get them crimped and ensure that the pins are inserted correctly into the housing. This will definitely take some practice to get perfect. The inside clip is a bit flimsy and I broke a few already which rendered the housing useless since the pin wouldn't lock in place. However, this could be due to my inexperience using these.I got a few of them wired in good and am using them for fog lights on my armored bumper on my truck. Makes the whole thing looks professional and from the factory if you do it right.I bought the recommended crimping tool to go with it, and am GLAD I did. I would recommend you purchase the proper tool to ensure you get this on correctly. i would have wasted a lot more of them if I had not purchased the proper crimping tool.

Amazing Value - good quality
Great product a lot cheaper than the original equivalent. They are a little fiddly to assemble if your not use to doing it every day and have the proper crimp tool for the pins. The pins don't click into the housing with great confidence but they do go in and hold tight (stand up to a pull test). Will be using again, seller had good coms with me and sorted out a small shipping issue for me very quickly.

Works Perfectly
Pretty easy to install once you read the directions. Used these for my Trailer Lights and this make it easier to replace them if they get broken.

The connectors with pigtails are better
These connectors are tight. They work well, but connecting wires is a sloooowwww process.Get the ones with wire pigtails and save yourself some time.
