Horrendous!! This device needs to be activated by Verizon. I’ve now spent over 4 hours trying to get Verizon to manually add this device to their system. Which they can’t do for whatever reason. I’m just being transferred around to different agents. I paid for 3 SIM cards. Only 2 seem to work. But can’t connect to WiFi without this activation. I didn’t open this package until now - I’m out of return window. This is the biggest scam & waste of my money & time etc. who were the people that left 3.8 stars?? You completely mislead us all! I need a refund or I’ll dispute it with my credit card.

The device performs well and is a good value, compared with other Verizon hotspot products. I thought I would save a few dollars and get an Orbic speed from Amazon, instead of the Verizon store. but I suspect it was old stock. Both the battery and sim card were bad, so I returned it to Amazon and got a new one from a local Verizon corporate store, which also switched over service from an old Jetpack on the spot. I don't love Verizon, but it was the better option this time.

Rooted and installed RayHunter the first try without and problems. (Used Linux to install)

I was able to install some useful alternative software onto it without any issues. It says Verizon but seems to work fine with other carrier SIMs. Battery life sucks; might look into buying another battery to see if that helps. It might be better just to keep it plugged in, if that's doable for you.

Works like it should. Very pleased with this portable jetpack or internet. When I received this, I had a little problem, but I took my time to figure it out and got the job done. It came with a SIM card when it was sent and received.

This device works around other 2G up to 5G connections. But if your neighbors are using wifi 6 your connection will be drowned out and your reception will be so low your hotspot will be unusable. 2G and 5G is obselete. If you want to be outside with no people around and its just you this device is for you but if you want to be around other people and still use internet then choose a Hotspot device that has the WiFi 6 label. Other than that the battery lasts half a day so youll need to recharge it before your day is done. It does come with its own sim card and yes you can use other sim cards. Im using Verizon for my hotspot connection. It works fine when im in the city at work i can watch movies and play video games , but when i come home to the apartment complex everyone here is using WiFi 6 devices so my hotspot becomes useless so instead i had to purchase a Nighthawk M6.
