High interest

My son loves Miles Morales, so this was an easy choice for a great holiday gift. However, he has a hard time reading because if multiple learning disabilities, so he doesn’t often go for books as a high priority gift item. I wanted to see if the right kind of book might help him enjoy reading more. I’ve never seen him pick up and finish a book so quick in his life. He was very animated and passionate as he told me all about the plot and characters. I’m glad to have found something that he genuinely enjoyed to spark his imagination without causing the usual reading anxiety or dread.

Love this book!!! It's great for my lower elementary and upper elementary students to be interested in reading. Nice, diverse characters with fun, engaging illustrations! Nice read!!! I have students from K-6th who love this book!!! Some of my kinder, 1st, and 2nd graders can read it, too!!!!

Miles Morales is a great character. I felt like something got lost in translation without the movie’s quick back between characters.

I read this with my 7 year old. He enjoyed the story and the artwork. He was excited to keep reading it. I didn't read descriptions properly, I thought it was a regular novel, but it was still enjoyable as a graphic novel. I think the content is above the age I prefer for my son, but I minimally edit as I read where needed. It didn't have anything to bad, just trying not to make him grow up too fast.

The artwork of this GN is gorgeous and SO COOL! The story was engaging and fun throughout! The artwork made it so much richer. The chapter break illustrations were very fun to come across while reading.

Really lovely book. The kids love it. It's appropriate for different ages even adults! the pages are really good quality and feel. Nice investment.

I didn't realise that it was an actual comic novel inside, but my son loves the pictures to follow along the story. A great first comic book.
