Perfect base for Star Trek Geordi La Forge visor
I had a Star Trek themed Halloween Party to go to and I wanted to be Lavar Burton's character - Geordi La Forge. Finding a yellow Star Trek shirt was easy enough, but finding anything similar to his visor was next to impossible if I wanted to keep a low budget. In my research I found that in season 1 of Star Trek The Next Generation his prop visor was actually derived from a banana hair clip. I was able to find these glasses to act as a base and the following materials to go along with it, all on Amazon: CS Hyde Silver Metalized Polyester with Acrylic Adhesive .0022" Thick Goody Women's Classics Clincher Comb, 7 Inch, 3 Count Taking the adhesive and taping the brown banana clip to the glasses I was able to create a dang fine Geordi visor! Visibility is relatively poor as you would expect, but I was able to meander around and recognize people and not trip over anything. Though I am not one, I think Geordi cosplayers would enjoy making a cheap visor out of these glasses.

Good Bang for Your Buck
Bought these as a cheap pair of sunglasses that I didn't mind losing at a festival and I loved them. I got a lot of compliments on them, they have a good level of tint, and they are fairly sturdy. A good use of ~10 dollars overall

Nice color. Excellent coverage. The ridge for the nose is fairly small, so I have to wear them different from what I usually wear. Great for driving, though.
