Awesome kit
This was a lot of fun to build. Camera quality is superb. nice instructions. strong quality components.i am new to robots and coding and this was not too easy and not too hard.

Good
It was easy to build with an hilariously large instruction guide

Great project for pre-teen kids
We got this for our 8-9 year old boy for Christmas and he couldn’t wait to open. Very well made. Took a little bit of help from dad to do the electronics part but more so just to make sure he didn’t break off any of the connectors. His 11 year old sister enjoys playing with it as well.Product is very well made and sturdy. Battery life is pretty good for this having a metal chassis. He has run it for 30-40min with no sign of battery running low yet. We have taken it off road and goes through about any rough terrain however the bottom sensor hangs low so it will bottom out. We removed that and just drive using the phone instead of using that mode.Overall recommend this product to feed any kids curiosity and creativity.

Lights would have been nice.
I have an issue at my place that requires my inspecting down in the crawlspace. I found a nice from scratch build on the internet that gave me a really nice idea. I will still be building one like that one.I can safely say that this kit will do nearly everything I wanted to do. It only took a little drilling and tapping but I was able to reduce the height of the unit by nearly 4 inches by moving the camera assembly to the front from the top. It even allows me to peer around corners just in front of the treads.Adding a flashlight to the top gives me the ability to see under the house. it is far cheaper than buying a dedicated crawler for that purpose and since it can be controlled from a phone, it is quite useful. I did have to make a longer UART cable, but all in all, this is very nice kit fpr a purpose completely different from what it was sold for.I even showed it to a couple of plumbers and they are going to buy one now as well. All the niceties aside, the tracks roll too fast, and control across both sides isn't consistent. This is the reason I took away one star. I am going to try to stick a raspberry pi in there. The case is big enough to add a bunch of sensors within it and still have it be protected.Definitely worth getting.

Very nice item, complicated enough to be challenging, but looks great
the item arrived quickly and had a lot of stuff in it. It was well-organized, and my daughter's class was able to put it together, but they had issues with a piece or pieces burning. So, carefully follow the instructions. It would be best if they had better instructions. For the price, it is not very user-friendly, but the item looks great once assembled. it is definitely a worthwhile project to take on.

As described
Exactly as described and fullfills expectations. One thing I'll note is that devices like this tend to be confusing for people to connect to, but here's the trick, if using a smartphone or tablet with data: your cellular data, or mobile data, has to be be turned off when you are connecting to this device's wifi. If you don't, the phone will fall back to cell data even if you "successfully connect" (but the app says you aren't connected) hopefully that helps someone!

Super fun!
It’s a terrific gateway for programming robotics, and building circuits. After completing the tutorials, you can use the kit as a baseline for inventing your own robots. I whipped through the tutorials in two days and loved it!
