well.. It's Belkin.
If yo uare looking for a Power Surge you can trust than go for this. A bit pricey but quality and reassurance is what you pay for. 6 UK/UAE sockets all nicely spaced. Build quality is excellent, hard flame retardant plastic. No creeking when slightly bent. Would you rather buy a cheap power strip that dies after a couple of years or something that stays at least 3-4 years or more without any problems? This is the second one I own from Belkin and I can tell you I trust it. The cable is very thick and long enough, It powers my gaming PC, my three monitor, my PD chager and my standing desk. No loss of power and I have the reassurance of being protected. I’m unaware if it is possible to swap the fuse if blown, but this is because it never happened to me on my previous model and I believe it won’t happen to this one aswell. Best Power Strip/Surge in the market. Quality 5/5 Price 3/5 Build 5/5

charger, extension cord and surge protect all in one.
stylish look and ergonomic feel, it has LED indicating if the wall outlet is not grounded, so you get the idea whether it is safe or not. it also has 2 USB A, so you dont need to buy charger for your phone. so you get a charger and a extension cord and surge protect in one.

Seems good quality and tough. no issues thus far
plastic around the sockets is tough but can break off if the plug is slightly oversized.

Well-Built but Very Large
Build quality is excellent, but it’s much bigger than expected. Make sure you have enough space before buying. I couldn’t use it because of the size.

I’ve been using this Belkin extension lead for a few months and it’s been excellent. The build quality feels noticeably sturdier than cheaper brands — the casing is solid, the sockets hold plugs firmly, and the switch is smooth to use. The 2-metre cable length is a sweet spot: long enough to reach behind desks or TV units, but not so long that it creates clutter. What gives me real peace of mind is the surge protection. I’ve got my gaming PC (quite an expensive item to not protect properly), monitor, and speakers plugged in, and knowing they’re protected against sudden power spikes is reassuring. It blends in well with my setup too — the white finish looks clean and doesn’t stick out. Belkin also has a good reputation, so I trust it more than the random no-name strips I’ve used in the past. All in all, this is a reliable, well-made product that’s worth paying a little extra for.

I’ve owned the 4-way, 6-way and 8-way versions of this Belkin surge protector (with and without USB ports), and all have been great. They look more premium than most, and if you’re safety-conscious like me, they bring real peace of mind – especially with the different connected device warranty levels depending on which version you choose. The power cables are on the shorter side for what these are designed for. The wider 6 and 8-way models, which have two parallel rows of sockets, are also a bit harder to fit neatly into cable management boxes or desk clamp holders. It’s possible, just fiddly. I eventually found a more niche, net-based setup that works well with my standing desk. There’s also no wall-mount option or mounting holes, which is a shame as it would make placement more flexible and tidy. If you’re upgrading from basic extensions without surge protection or individual power switches, this feels like a real step up in quality and safety – something all extensions should include but often don’t. On the USB 6 and 8-way models, spacing is tight between the two socket rows, so larger power plugs (like external hard drives) can overlap and block adjacent ports. You sometimes need to sacrifice one socket for the sake of the one opposite it. Of the six-plus Belkin surge protectors I’ve owned over the past two years, only one stopped working after about a year. None of my connected devices were affected, and all the plugs and cables still function perfectly. It wasn’t a great sign, but given every other unit has worked flawlessly, I see it as a one-off fault and it hasn’t put me off – I’ve already bought two more in recent days. I am due to send back the affected unit for manufacturer warranty repair or replacement, I will update here to provide a picture of how easy this is / if it is resolved.

Okay so I just unboxed it and there is a screw rattling around I think, maybe some plastic too. Like actually inside the strip, it rattles from one end of the strip to the other. I am shocked as I have a TON of Belkin strips because they are such great quality usually. I have 8 strips in my home and this is the first time I have ever heard this.

Well made extension lead with plenty of socket space. The 2m cable length is practical and the surge protection adds peace of mind. No issues so far and feels durable.

Some things you shouldn’t buy cheap, and I think extensions are one of those. You can easily tell the difference in quality with this one compared to cheaper extensions. The main difference is the power lead. It is noticeably thicker, and nothing gets hot when in use. The switch is nice and solid, and the plugs fit securely with no wobble. They are also sufficiently spaced out that you can use larger transformer type plugs without losing a socket. It also has built in surge protection in case of power spikes, which, whilst rare, do happen. Great value for the peace of mind that you don’t get with cheap extensions.
