Waring Blender Clover Leaf Cover for Glass Jar, Black

This cover was a replacement and fit my blender perfectly

We have an old Waring blender that is over 30, maybe over 40 years old. Unlike some of the other reviewers, we still have the original lid. However the old lid has become gross and disgusting with age. The plastic got sticky -- not because we didn't clean it, but because the plastic started to deteriorate. It gets your hands sticky just touching it, and water alone doesn't get the stickiness off. We've had old plastic storage containers do the same thing. So no one who lost or broke their lid should be too sorry about it. It's better to replace this sort of plastic lid anyway when it gets that old.Our blender says Model 1208 on the bottom and says Custom Solid State 70 on the front. I wasn't sure this lid would fit because Model 1208 isn't among the many model numbers listed in Amazon's description. But it fits just like the original one did, and it's sooooo much nicer to be using a nice new lid that doesn't make your hands sticky.

Our 20+ year old Waring blender had been unused for some time due to our puppy getting a hold of the lid and chewing it up. I was worried the size/specs might have changed in that time. This replacement worked well. Note, it was a bit tight fit at first, but I put a bit of vegetable oil on the rim and let it sit on the blender for a few days - came on and off easily after that (even after cleaning up the oil).

The cover is just fine however my waring is blue not black and thus I would have been happier if I could have gotten it in blue!Not a big thing--it works and fits fine--just not blue.

I bought my Waring bar blender almost 30 years ago and it is the best blender ever! When it needed a new top it was a no brainer! KEep blender and find a new top! Perfect!

Don't ask me how, but my irresponsible brother was staying with me. I came home from work and found my lid of the blender burned and melted. It was unusable, and I never found out how he did it. Anyway, I have an Oster Clover Leaf blender, which I love, and I was very fortunate to find this replacement lid on Amazon. I purchased it and it arrived quickly.It fits perfectly and I have no issues with my liquids splashing out. This was a mighty fine purchase, and my brother is still in the dog house, ha!

Didn't fit my vintage Waring even though its a clover leaf. That was probably my fault in thinking it would. But I did cut the rubber edge on the bottom,so,it just lays on top for looks but no real function. Gotta shop some more till I find the right one. The one I need is a hard poly plastic and no one seems to carry it anymore.
