As a control technician I was contemplating to buy this or the insulated version. in amazon warehouse this is normally stocked not the insulated model and since I was in a rush went for comfort grip. previously i owned both Klein tools J2068C (all purpose) and needle nose VDV026-049.they gave my wrist excessive pain due to hard response it press back against my palm when using them for a long time. the handle alone is a major factor that I go with Knipex also the metal used is more elastic. the comfort grips give a wider grip for holding small parts and pieces. twisting and turning and holding up is comfortable. Both of the Klein models had oil leaking from the joint which is not a good indication.from my experience with some of German and American tools here is how I rank. 1.Knipex. Best for - Electronic Pliers - cutters (Mini bolt Kobalt /Twinforce) - Cobra Pliers . knipex set the quality bar very high if others produce anything in their line of work I would not think twice to pick knipex. 2. Wera.. Best for ratcheting sets. Joker wrenches. ergonomic handles. great packaging and carry options. the only thing is that I would not buy an insulated Wera if this was not their weak point I would buy their insulated too. 3. Wiha. Best for - Insulated screw drivers. tough handles. not so good for packaging( almost guaranteed you will lose some pieces if you own a set. 4.Klein. general screw drivers. availability in US and Canada, very reliable. not so good for multi-bits. interchangeable bits are not compatible with other manufacturer heck they are not compatible with other Klein sets.
