Screw comes loose and falls apart when yoh wind.

The winder broke on first use!!! Don't be fooled by the brand name and packaging. This is made out of very brittle plastic that will crack and crumble at the joint of the winder as you use it. If I had not thrown out the packaging and receipt, I will definitely return and ask for a refund. oh. well, lesson learned. Stay away from this one.

The worst purchase I’ve ever done. Couldn’t use it for 1 continues minute. When you rotate to loosen the strings the screw will unscrew instead and the handle will get apart

It's made of strong plastic, doesn't bend or feel flimsy in the hand. Cuts bass strings with ease, winds strings easily. The end that covers the tuning key is very large, and perhaps on smaller, closer spaced, tuning keys may pose a problem. You'll just have to turn one key vertical and then wind the other one, and finish off tuning by hand (of course). I like that it's plastic, contrary to some other reviews, as it doesn't scratch or mar finishes unless someone should get stupid with it, and it's heavy enough plastic that you're not scared to use it. Good product. I'd buy another one without a doubt.

What can I say about this? It's a string winder with a cutter. They're always good to have a round. I've had this one for years and it's still working fine. I think they're all about the same no matter what brand you get. The only difference will be in quality and if they'll last or if they'll break easily. This one seems well made so no issues there. I'd buy more if I ever need more.

Great little tool for changing strings Tested on a 6 string acoustic, quality seems good and everything works perfectly as it should, machine head winder, peg puller and string cutter Will be interesting to see if the cutter works on my bass next time I change the strings
