I felt my nails got very dry after using this and split more.

If you use it regularly it will help and prevent broken nails. As a result you will have stronger nails.

Can you wear nail polish over this? or use it as a topcoat?

I read the label, you can not use nail polish over it.

They say it's yellow...do they mean clear or is it really a yellow color?
