Normal People

Most people will find the author’s writing style odd but for me it is perfect as it portrays the raw emotions and interactions between characters. The story is simple but its incredibly heartbreaking.

I loveeeee this book its one of my fav books I literally finished it in two days.

So many emotions about this book. At some point, I never wanted to put it down. They're just two normal people who were obviously in love and completed each other, but they both had their own demons and needed saving. I loved how it was narrated and how the characters were so normal, yet still peculiar in their own ways. I must admit, I was expecting a happy ending, but some stories are meant to be left open. Was the relationship complicated? I think they just cared too much for one another.

I enjoyed this book and the dynamics of modern relationships and how the shadow of abusive households linger throughout our lives , the characters are well written . However I didn’t fall in love with this book and am not sure on the global hype around this. It’s a better than average read for me!

Normal People é uma série incrível, e por conta disso tive o interesse de comprar o livro, em inglês, para me adaptar mais ao idioma e tentar ter outro vislumbre da história. Se você gostou da série, muito provavelmente vai gostar do livro, que é igualmente muito bom e desenvolve mais alguns aspectos dos personagens principais. Minha única crítica é com relação à capa. Comprei a versão com capa dura justamente pra ter um produto com qualidade e durabilidade maior. Para minha surpresa, a capa de verdade é completamente branca, com um plástico solto em volta que, aí sim, tem o design mostrado no anúncio. Achei extremamente decepcionante a falta de qualidade nesse aspecto.
