Building Small Cabinets

Extremely informative with great projects that can be adapted for your own needs

The book is well presented, with drawings and step-by-step procedures. It is good for the novice as well as for the more-experienced woodworker. It's well done, and has given me ideas for cabinets as well - that's the reason for its purchase.

Great book, right amount of info in my opinion. As the book progresses the cabinets get to be more than I bought the book for wich is fine. But more “small cabinet” ideas would’ve been better.

This book is so well written and excellently illustrated that you can actually build the projects with ease. Most "how-to" books are unclear, incomplete, and "iffy" at best. The book is logically constructed in order to show the progression of steps of construction from the tools and materials you need to the last attachment.

Overall I thought the book was ok, there wasn't much in the way of projects that I'm interested in. I was more looking fordesign applications and insights. There are some photos that I found completely confusing and not clearly showing the readerwhat was intended and I consider myself to be a fairly competent woodworker.I feel the author is trying too hard to over complicate certain things which would no doubt lead to some frustration to a new woodworker.
