My son loves the story. Always fun to read and filled with fun.The text are also big so it's easy for new readers.

AMAZING book. The storyline is so well-written and the message is empowering. The illustrations are beautiful, too, with a collection of Australian animals. About a 7-minute read, and ends in a chilled out way, so perfect for bedtimes. My 3-year old loves this.

Brilliant story about trying new things. I bought it for a colleague who was called Kevin and leaving the company for new adventures. All the staff signed it and gave it to him on his last day.

We loved the other books in the series as they all shared an important message be it sharing, friendship and courage to do things like this one. Kevin is one little character that you grow to love who is afraid of change.Ultimately having the courage to take a chance and try something new leads to a world of possibilities. The text rhymes and is perfect for reading aloud. Suitable for kids who may be anxious about things and it shows them it's ok to be upset and afraid but that sometimes change happens for a reason and it can be good. Great book.

This story is fantastic and all the children I have read it to enjoy it. It is a pleasure to read aloud because the rhythm and rhymes are spot on (unlike some of the Julia Donaldson books where it feels clumsy) and the illustration is brilliant.My favourite thing about this book (and A Lion Inside and The Squirrels who Squabbled) is the message, which is so positive, but not at all forced. Given the light-hearted tone of the three books I wasn’t expecting “lessons”, but they are so sweetly given and such positive messages that it has pushed these books to my “most bought” for the kids I know.

Could read these books all day. The rhyming and story is excellent and teaches my son a few things about life. We often chat about them after read. Illustrations are great. Book is a great size. Recommended for any family!
