What are the length of the hooks? How far would they stick out once installed?

The hooks are not very big, in fact I would of liked them a little bigger. However, they are “stick on” and I’ve had 2 fall off already. I would spend a little more and get better quality.

how much weight does the stick on one hold?

I would say it holds one towel . We put it on the wall next to the shower. The towel we hang there is a full sized bath towel.
