This product is worth buying. If your laptop has an easy opening from the bottom and has an extra slot for the DDR4, you can do it yourself easily. Now my laptop is a lot faster with this 8GB Crucial DDR4 RAM and 480 GB SSD. I recommend these products from Kingdisk Store.

The memory module came quickly and carefully wrapped. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 and had no issue installing the memory. It was not the same clock speed as the one it replaced (it is slower, 2400hz), but I don't think it makes much difference. It is more about increasing memory size, which helps load things into the memory, which helps with speed. Note that memory replaces your removable memory module only. There is a permanent 4GB attached to the motherboard (soldered?). I replaced the other 4GB with this new 8GB memory module, so I now have 12GB of total memory. 4 + 8 = 12

This 8 GB RAM Works for Dell 5379 bought in Singapore. I recommend this product and vendor. Check "slots" i.e the place to fix the RAM in your laptop by using "Windows > Task Manager > Performance > Memory" to ensure you have 1 slot free.
