This is a very good book for the beginner to learn strength training.
If you are new to strength training It has somany informations and programs. My suggestion is to buy this book along with the strength training anatomy and strength training anatomy workout 2.

Fantastic book!
Phenomenal book, very detailed science backed book, easy to read and typically written in Jim style. Great detail on how to create programs to build muscle or strength or lose fat. Lots of programs to choose from with given sets and rep ranges. The second part of the book explains the different exercises but is not as detailed as other books - before and after pictures with short description. All in all I should have bought this book before I started lifting weights!

Wealth of information
Fantastic read - for a newbie like me i think this is the best fitness guide i could have asked for. From the fundamentals of strength and muscle building to the details of various training programs, its' a must have book. Just wished the images were in colour considering the price.

ottimo manuale che descrive a fondo tecniche di esecuzione degli esercizi e principi di base del bodybuilding/powerlifting. Il dottor Stoppani è forse ilpiù affidabile tra i divulgatori nel campo del body building.In questo libro, troverete tutto quello che c’è da sapere per allenarsi nella maniera più corretta ed efficace. Personalmente trovo che questo manuale sia il migliore del suo genere e lo consiglio unitamente all’enciclopedia del bodybuilding di Arnold.
