Sony PCM-D50 Portable Linear PCM Recorder - Bundle - with Sony MDR-7506 Professional Folding Headphones

This is a great poratble digital-audio recorder. But the recorder itself typically retails for around $499, and you can get it cheaper if you shop around. That means you're paying $400 for a pair of lightweight folding headphones. Seriously? You need $400 headphones for a $500 recorder? I don't think so. You'd be better off with a set of $100 'phones, and putting your money into a good external mike.Edit on 02/26/2014: And even /more/ insanely overpriced now that they've raised the package price by $1,000! What are they thinking??
