I bought this set of speakers from the Warehouse and they arrived in non-working order. I called DS18 directly, since I got a good deal on the speakers, to see if they could help me out. They were easy to reach and quick to understand the issue. Not only did they provide a shipping label to their Miami factory, but they turned them around in 3 days. They fixed my broken speakers that they didn't even sell me!!! This is the type of service you hope for out of a top speaker company and they did NOT disappoint!!! They're installed now and you can hardly talk to each other in the boat when were running.

These speakers do not sound as good as speakers costing much less. The 6.5" version is better. These just seem to be all treble and after a few hours I simply gave up and installed a pair of 880s which fixed the issues. They are loud and they seem to do well with good power, but I was not able to get them to sound even close to accurate. They were hooked up to a JL 600/4 amp.

These are some of my favorite speakers. I have had these and the 8s for some time. They are very loud and clear. Be aware that they are not going to last longer than about 2 seasons because they are not very uv resistant. I have only had to replace 1 set so far but the low price makes it ok

These play very loud and efficiently, but lack clarity, and are pretty harsh on the treble with the titanium tweeter. Compared them side by side with Kicker and Infinity marine 6.5s. Infinity sounded best, then Kicker, then these. All were loud, but these were probably loudest at same volume.

Super loud and can handle 75 wrms easy. Very bright sound. I'm happy with them.
