On my tubes of lipstick it says:made in the USA. I looked on the website but there is no information about where it is made.

We are an authorized distributor and believe it's made in New York but the company does not share that information with us.If that is critical let me know and I will contact them on Monday and ask.

what are the shades that they turn into? I ahve a green one that turns bright pink, and another that turns orange..(ugh!)...looking for a darker one

They don't have it (darker one). This lipstick is good for staining the lips with color so that you can put another shade on over it -- your lips will retain color even after eating. At least that's what I use it for. Also, to offput the deadlips/no-color look that happens throughout the day as the color wears. The secret is to NOT OVERDO the original smear of the greenstick, otherwise you'll look like a clown. (Same with yellow/orange, etc.) Keeps you looking alive, and it's a great moisturizer. : )Good luck!
