Ahhh nothing beats an Ouma rusk — so good! Just very overpriced but I guess that’s what you kind of expect!

Authentic risks, excellent flavor, a bit broken up in packaging..

I like melba toast, so I was thinking that I'd like to try some other sorts of rusk. This is much more like biscotti than it is like melba toast - a mild, comparatively less dense biscotti. It has some crumble, breaks apart when you eat it, and is good for dipping. I tried putting butter on it, but paired with its innate butteriness it was a bit much. Each piece is about ~1" x 0.75" x 0.5" or so. I'd say you get enough in the box to be worth the price, especially if you are just trying it for the first time. I think the buttermilk is interesting, but next time I will try a non-buttermilk type or a cake rusk and see how that is. Would recommend for dipping in tea or coffee or for snacking.

Went to South Africa for vacation. Needed a work/office souvenir. Saw these in the local supermarket. Buying through Amazon saved packing space and let me buy more than I would have if I had actually brought them back. They are dry so best with coffee and tea. But tasty. They disappeared pretty quickly so I'm guessing people enjoyed munching on them .

Love the rusks. Delivery just take so long. Easily 5-7 days and the it gets delivered to our mailbox not our front door. Will order from another seller next time..
