Shouldn't this product be refrigerated? Normally I purchase at Whole Foods in a refrigerated section... but Amazon is 30% cheaper.

I used to work in the supplement section at Whole Foods and this is the brand I use personally. They have two versions, one that is shelf stable and one that is kept refrigerated. I can promise you the refrigerated version came in on a refrigerated truck and was not compromised before going to the cooler shelf (at all the WF I worked at). So in short, there are two versions and you do lose quality/quantity if the cold version is out of the fridge for any extended time.

Does this brand require refrigeration? I'm looking for one to travel with.

I have used this product for at least 10 years (alternating with the 150 billion when I am not well). In my opinion since they changed it to the smaller capsule, the product does not work as well. for my digestive system. Just cancelled subscribe and save from Amazon because it it not kept cool. I question the change from glass to plastic containers.. how great for the environment! Am looking for a better choice.

Does it get shipped in temperature controlled packaging, since it’s recommended to keep it refrigerated?
