Bought this a few months ago, and it's holding up well. The image hasn't worn off at all.

It's thicc, but high quality
The mouse pad is 0.25", which is about 4 times thicker than a gaming mousepad, but it doesn't get in the way, just feels weird at first. It grips well enough and the design is detailed and not flimsy.
