Well written book with great story inside
I have followed Bisping's career in ufc to some extent. This book has so much back story that I had no idea of before. Quitters Never Win made me appreciate Mr. Bisping a lot more. Very well written and enjoyable to read. I especially liked the touch of UK lingo in the book(great homage for Bisping's UK roots. Good also for casual reading in small chunks as there is so many small stories you can spend 15-60 minutes on and get a kick out of it and then continue reading more next day.

One of the best contemporary autobiographies I've read.
Engaging and well-written: strong narrative voice that doesn't make the mistake of becoming "literary".The only issue:quite a few issues of copy (phrasing, grammar, typos) which would have easily been remedied by a decent copy editor. This didn't detract from my enjoyment of the book, but several times I had to re-read a passage to work out what the intended meaning was (in a few cases it was a simple word omission).Michael Bisping's story makes a compelling read. There are dramatic, and even bizarre, episodes in a life that is at times familiar, even mundane. But that's what makes this "hero's journey" so engaging. The book is so well structured, so that the narrative always moves forward at a good pace. Bisping has always demonstrated a quick mind and sharp wit during interviews and run-ins with opponents, and both translate well into his writing. One of the best contemporary autobiographies I've read.

On the fence? Jump in - this book is great
The takeaways - what you need to know:*Great book with EXCELLENT story telling*Hard to put down*Easy read*Absolutely fun for any MMA fan*Great for autobiography enthusiastsI was never really a Michael Bisping fan. I liked some things about his persona - well, liked and found annoying, but reading this book has made me a fan of the fighter and the man (he's a really great guy)The story telling is compelling and genuine - and every paragraph I could hear in Bisping's voice. Great story telling and great insights into some major players in the UFC - Dana White comes across as a truly good dude. It's a great telling of Michael Bisping's story - respectfully, genuinely and humorously told by the man himself. If you're an MMA fan, familiar with Bisping or even if you just like reading autobiographies -- this book is great!

Great Book!
I've always been a big fan of Michael Bisping and this book 100% delivers. He is open, honest, candid, and funny! It's a great memoir of a guy who maybe wasn't the most physically talented, but never gave up and eventually became the UFC Middleweight champion.
