I don’t know why it is that I became unable to tolerate milk a few years ago. While talking to some women at a party, I found that they were having the same problems I was. Maybe as we get older, we no longer produce the enzymes necessary to digest milk. I had given up all dairy products - much to my dismay. I finally remembered using Lactaid when my youngest son was little and allergic to milk, so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s working great! The Fast Acting strength comes in individual pouches, and you take one before eating dairy, and another one every 20 mins. So we keep this original strength at home while keeping the Fast Acting individual pouches in the car so we have them at all time.We had originally purchased generic brands from a local store. They did not work. We are sticking with this brand name.

I’ve been severely lactose intolerant since I was in second grade and I’ll be 40 in September . Anyways I cannot do milk dairy lactose whey or chocolate and I avoid these things since get very sick from them but the few tones we go to a party or I go out to eat I use lactaids to help the food digest in my tiny very sensitive tummy.

My 11 year old son is lactose intolerant. These pills are effective but my son has a hard time swallowing 3 of them before meals. There is a chewable Lactaid that is just one chewable per meal and that is a better option for kids or adults who have a hard time swallowing pills.

Use it every time I eat or drink a milk product. I never get sick anymore after popping 2 pills. It's amazing how many things have milk, cream, or cheese in them.
