Harris Seriously Good Wood Scraper Decorating Wooden Surface Preperation

Purchased the earlier version of this about 20 years ago. Still going strong apart from the fact that damage to the handle has made it uncomfortable to use. Saw this and had to buy it. Much better handle than the early version. Does as intended, comfortable to use. I use mostly for scraping old paint of the faces of door frames when replacing architraves. I'm sure it will last as long as my first one. Great value for money.

Fantastic tool. I have used these paint scrapers before and they do the trick. I used it to strip off Cuprinol black ash shades from my garden table to return it back to it’s natural original wood colour after trying to burning it off which I wouldn’t advise, sanding with a multi tool wasn’t going to work so i then remembered the paint scraper i had and it did the job so I ordered two more, it took me some time then followed this with the sander, but it does do the job.

I used paint remover and then used the scraper. Worked well and its got four different blades. If you put some extra force on you can scrap paint off without paint remover.

Brilliance, easy to use. Stay sharp. Does amazing job of scraping paint from old doors frames, which had a lot of coats on!! Turn the blade from rough to smooth is easy enough but the screw can be a bit tricky. But love it! I now have the biggest size too! Makes the jobs so easy. Comfortable grip. Love this tool.
