Easy to put together! It is heavy duty and it looks nice! Fits our 2" hitch. It does extend out about 2 ft from the back of the vehicle, but it allows the back to open without henderance. It does sit tightly against the vehicle once folded up. We have not been able to fully use it yet. I will review it once we return from our trip. It fits our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and our 1999 Chevy Tahoe... it is a great size!

This cargo carrier was easy to assemble and attach to our SUV. I used it on a 1,000 mile round trip with no issues and it performed beautifully. No wobbling or noise. I was able to pack it up, tarp and strap everything down on it the night before we left and then with the help of my son, install it to the hitch and take off the next morning with little hassle. The only complaint I have is that there is some mismatch on the holes for the pin that holds the rack in the upright position. I can get the pin through with a hammer but it should slide through more easily. I think this is in line with other reviewer's comments on similar issues with the construction so you may need to be ready to do some slight modification such as opening up some hole sizes if you order this model.

It served its purpose. If I had enough time between when I received it and needed it I would have returned it. The powder coating was sub par. There was oil left on the still from manufacturing it that was not cleaned off properly before powder coating. This caused the powder coat to peel in several places before I received it. One of the support brackets that connect to the main bar that connects to the trailer hitch was manufactured incorrectly as well. The piece has three shots machined in it then is formed instead of being formed first. After the shots were machined the flat plate was loaded backwards into the machine that formed it causing the slots to be in the bend instead of the side wall. As I did not have time to return this I had to drill out new holes so I could assemble the carrier before leaving on an 800 mile trip.

Well.....two problems.... It started rusting not a week later after installing. I live in Florida and plan to leave my basket on 24/7 but this started rusting in the screws and many other places right away. Ill try to give it rust proof paint since its not worth returning. Also and even worse this sits at an angle and makes my jeep loos crooked :S.

This arrived as stated and was exactly as pictured and as described. The assembly was very easy and was done in less than 15 minutes. This was purchased for a 2015 Jeep Wrangler and fits perfectly, it even folds up with the spare tire in position. A 5 star rating for the company and the product.

Needed this for our car for deer hunting season since we no longer have a truck. A doe fit just fine, and we were able to cover it with a tarp for transport. No trouble getting carrier to fit onto the car. It will also come in handy when we travel with another couple and need more luggage or cooler space.

Sturdy construction. Can't believe they ship free with prime. But, holes in the arm to raise it up don't line up. Contacted to return and it would cost me too much to return, so I just kept it and use without the hinge arm. It works fine, but that's frustrating.

I bought this several months ago and just opened it to use it for holidays. I was counting on using it to haul specific items that fit into a 60x 24 rack. I opened package and the item received is 60x 18 , not large enough to use for what I need. Also does not have the removable fencing/gates. Just 6” high welded sides.How can I exchange this for the correct item? I am outside the return window. Just opened it.

It is very useful. Used it for hunting on the back of my Argo. It is also great behind my Dodge Journey for items not fitting in car.
