This thing is so much fun to use. We ended up with lots of styrofoam coolers from online food order gifts and needed to figure out what to do with them. We figured out a use for them but needed something to help us cut them and this cutter is definitely the thing. It works so well and glides through the foam like cutting butter.

I used this foam cutter to customize the interior of a Pelican case for a personal project, and it worked perfectly. I wanted to make some foam props for Halloween this year and after trying a pumpkin carving electric knife and my scroll saw, I decided I needed something a little easier. I am SO GLAD I purchased this! I wish I’d bought it sooner! Anyway, I had 4 layers of insulation foam I glued together and wanted to make logs with. I was able to use the hot wire to cut them down with ease!! (Then I used a rasp to roughen them up, then a small dry wall knife to cut the wood grain and painted). It heats up quickly, is very easy to find the right setting (look in instruction booklet), and it cools down quickly, too. It cuts quickly and beauitfully. It’ll take practice if you want perfect cuts because you have to hold/pull it just right, but it’s smooth as butter.

Product stopped working literally after first use. One attachment never worked at all, and then one by one the other attachments stopped working before I could even finish my small project

I bought this 4 in 1 foam cutting set with digital voltage controller, first the value is excellent and is easier and safer to use. Works with many different type of foams Eva foam, styrofoam, insulation foam, polyurethane foam, polyethylene foam, foam poster board, upholstery foam, PE foam, foam board, etc... I bought it for my sister she’s making all decorations for my niece 15th birthday and it works perfectly for for what she needs. May not be best for large blocks but worked great for 2 inch thick slabs. Do not rush cutting! That’s when you are likelier to get breaks. What a wonderful product. Cuts through styrofoam like cutting through butter. It sure does beat my old steak knife that I just to use to cut my styrofoam that's for sure. Great product that I would suggest buying to anyone who needs to cut styrofoam. Recommended

Great little foam cutter and my review is not about the actual tool. When able to make electrical connection by fiddling with the cord into transformer and or cord into handle it works well. Problem with this tool is the wiring must be fouled up with a weak connection within. This happened about the eighth time I used it. It made my projects go on endlessly while trying to make the connection within to allow me to use it.

Appareil génial, régler le voltmètre pour chaque accessoires différents, il fait des formes au top pas toujours droit certes c’est dur de rester stable mais c’est mieux et plus précis que le cutter ou le fer à souder.
