I haven't opened the container yet, because I'm still finishing up my previous supply. I no longer live where I can buy it in a store, and I was so happy to find it on Amazon that I didn't mind paying a higher price for it. In fact, I'm grateful to the seller for making it available. I add some on the side whenever I cook Indian food. In fact, if I cook something that didn't come out right, a few forkfuls of Ahmed pickle makes it taste delicious. It's addictive. I've used this pickle for many years and it's been very consistent. If there's any problem I'll come back here and report after I open this batch.

Taste is amazing. This is exactly like achar you would find in a dhaba in North India. The packaging is not great. The achar comes in a plastic bag inside the container. Make sure your plastic container does not leak before you pour it inside, or better yet...use a glass container instead.

This mixed achar chutney is a great product - it's flavourful and delicious. The Ahmed's version contains large chunks of lime, green mango etc all swimming in tasty, bright orange oil and is great to eat with rice or bread. The product itself is very highly recommended but at nearly £8 online via amazon, you should be aware that you're being charged almost 4x the price you'd pay for it in a regular store. At the time of writing he exact same product in its 1kg pot sells for £1.95 e.g. in Easton in Bristol. But, if you're restricted to mail ordering the product and don't mind being a little bit fleeced, this pickle is definitely worth trying.
