Mullally, Ph.D., Robin Boyer: Books Review: Fun learning resource! - Great resource! The dot to dots are varying levels of difficulty. Half of the dot to dots use numbers and half use letters of the alphabet. Lots of fun for my tutoring students as a method of practicing recognizing letters and numbers! Review: Great for strengthening fine motor skills - I bought this book to help buildup my incoming kindergarten student’s hand strength. This is an easy book to throw in my purse. Would recommend this for early elementary and preschool students.

Good way to keep numbers fresh over the summer
Summer fun while reviewing numbers concepts from the previous school year. Keeping kids engaged is easy with these big easy to draw pictures.

Dot to dot book.
Drawings for the dot to dot are nice and big for the small childs uncontrollable hand. I will look for this company up at Amazon for future buys.

In this case, more would have been better
3-year-old recipient loves this book. Half of this book utilizes alphabets A-Z; the other half numbers. Great for toddlers that have mastered the alphabetical sequence and love to draw/trace. Pictures are cute and fun. Paper quality is good. The only problem I have with this book is the price - it is expensive. Either double the number of dot-to-dot activities, or cut the price in half.

as the cover shows numbers being used in the dot-to-dot, I thought this book would only use numbers. However, fully half of the book (in fact the whole first part) uses the alphabet. With the reading method used at my child's school this is useless. They don't learn alphabetical order until much later. Moreover, the example depicted on the cover is the easiest dot-to-dot by a long shot. As they aren't organised by order of difficulty, it's difficult to let my child choose his own dot-to-dot. He likes proceeding methodically, ocasionally skipping a page or two, but with this book i feel either i have to help him (which, being an autonomous child, he doesn't really enjoy) or i have to help him select one so that he doesn't start with the most difficult and get discouraged. All in all, there must be better products out there.
