Poor Fog Light Replacement
Bulbs seem decently constructed and are definitely bright up close; also can’t argue they look great.However, unfortunately the LED bulbs scatter light upward and do a poor job of illuminating close to the road surface (which ultimately is the purpose of a fog light).Stock halogen bulbs on my 2010 Nissan Murano provide better road illumination (see pictures - taken from driver’s side. Left = halogen; right = LED. Note: in the last pic, the halogen projects so much more light on the road that it looks like the LED isn’t even on).

Check your stock bulb length
The bulb alone doesn’t have problem, but when I compared my halogen bulb with this, I noticed the LED chip is located in different spot and is shorter. All car light reflectors designed to provide a sharp horizontal cut off if bulb locates in correct spot. Check picture. This is why some reviews said it is not as bright as stock bulb and illuminates almost everywhere but front. Amazon filter may not works properly, so check the size of your car bulb.

Good replacements for the OEM fog lights on BMW F30
Installed on my 2014 BMW 328i x-drive F30. I was tired of those outdated bulbs and wanted something of higher brightness. These arrived the same day, installation took ~5 mins each side, 30mins total for installation and recoding for the LED lightbulbs. Yes, that’s right, you need to recode your FEM module to account for the lightbulb, and turn off fog light warm & cold monitoring. You can do this using the BimmerCode app and a vgate Bluetooth OBD II connector. Simple stuff.The lights work with the turning lights after awhile. I would recommend this light mod for anyone who wants a better set of fog lights on their car. Nice and bright. Haven’t tried them for too long but they look really good

Not as advertised! Not compatible with 2016 BMW X5
Bout this to replace my halogen fog light bulbs on my 2016 BMW X5. As per description it is compatible. It took over 2 hours to install because of my X5. Coded my vehicle to accept LED. Turned on the truck and they flashed for a while. Now they flash sporadically and I keep getting an error message on my dashboard. They are obviously not compatible. Do not buy. I now have to spend 2 more hours to remove them. Completely disappointed.
