Has anyone tried anything besides butter?

Oil. Similar result to my review, overheats.Pot to close to candle flame.Have to repeatedly remove to let pot contents cool down, and need to be very careful to properly engage base of the pot into the metal circle.Cannot image how this could be being down if these pots did not have a handle.Excellent idea just not practical and using less and less.If any-one else has used other than butter / oil I would also be interested in their experience.

I do not see on the listing anywhere that these are microwave safe. I do see in a review that someone used the microwave, but is it listed as safe?

The nonprofit ceramic butter warmers is safe.

Has anyone ever used these to pour melted butter over rolls or biscuits? Did you/guests like it or prefer softened butter or there's no difference?

Used to warm drawn butter for lobster, shrimp, and fish, this is an excellent product. I would not use this warmer to pour from. It has a pour spout, but if poured slowly, the contents run down the side of the warmer.

What is the diameter of the opening at the top?

The top opening is about 4 inches across.

Lindo detalle para la mesa

Están muy lindas. El único problema es que no he podido encontrar más velas que no sean a base de parafina(velas de miel, Cocó, etc., son carísimas) para seguir usándolo.

Adorable and works perfectly!

They are adorable! If you are not educated on how to use it, don't leave a bad review. It's not meant to heat the butter up, it's just to keep it warm (you heat it on the stove or in microwave) and it's absolutely does its job. Very happy with the purchase.
