Worked very well on my set of Chicago Cutlery knives!! I have only used it once, but it worked like a charm!

I bought one for my home in Baltimore & liked it so much, I bought one for my place in Orlando. It’s very ez to use, stays in place & does a great job sharpening. I bought a knife set at a yard sale & sharpened all the straight blade knives as they were kind of dull. Now they’re very sharp & do a great job slicing & dicing.

This grindstone looks so beautiful, but it's really good to use. All the fruit knives and kitchen knives in my family can't cut anything. First, I took the fruit knife and tried it. After grinding less than 10 times, it was as sharp as before. The kitchen knife is OK. It needs to be sharpened for a while. I haven't tried the bone chopper. The only bone chopper at home is very sharp,

Item seems well-made. The actual sharpening section detaches for cleaning. I would not test the glove for safety though. Sure looks 'iffy' to me but better than a bare paw I suppose. Satisfied with product.

I'm tired of using a whetstone for all of my knives so this is a nice touch. I already have Kevlar gloves but it was nice that this came with one. If you have high carbon steel knives like I do with hardness rating 60+, you're in for a treat. Definitely takes a lot of pressure and multiple passes to get back to factory sharpness, but still, works great, good purchase. Also, the sharpening area of this unit is removable, so it seems to me that you're able to replace. Nice little touch.

This is really a quality and economical product. First, it easily sharpened my wife's kitchen knives. The safety glove was a nice addition to the package and because it and the sharpener appear to be ambidextrous, it will help insure the safety of anyone!

I did not realized that nearly every knife I had was serrated, so I could only test it on 2 knives. Those two knifes though were made sharper, and the device was easy to use. So I think the sharpener was a worthwhile purchase.
