Does this stick to stockings or to the dress? I want to wear it under a sweater dress and my hope is that it’ll stop it from sticking to my tights.

It will stick. If wearing under clothing it’s great to reduce see-thru, but unfortunately, the material is not slippery enough to let dresses or long shirts move freely without sticking.

Would this hide slim a little?

No. If you are looking for a slip-type garment, try this: Phistic Women's Sophisticated Liquid Assets Lace Slip. It is very flattering and covers the imperfections/bulges. It is quite short though, goes under a mini dress or a long tunic (above the knee on me, 5'1").

Is the material thin? Could it be worn on its own?

I would not wear it on its own. Material is not too thin for me I feel it is inappropriate to worn as a dress.

I'm about the same size. I got small. I think it fits perfectly. The straps are adjustable so I can shorten /lengthen as needed.
