I bought this as a replacement for the original headset and base unit. I looked into Bluetooth, but I prefer this RF headset because it has a longer range, and I like to wander around my large apartment while listening to news or music. The original headset finally wore out after 5+ years of daily use. They are comfortable, and the sound quality is very good. Highly recommended.

This is an up-dated review. I have had the head phones now for a few months and thought I'd give a bit of feed-back. Great sound quality from a quality product. I've had Sennheiser products for many years and they never disappoint. We up-graded to the RS175 for our projector when we want to watch a big screen movie so we wanted the best headphones around, only thing is that they really surround the ear and you cannot hear outside, which for a movie is wonderful but not for everyday use. When we up-graded our 120s I went for the on-ear not the over ear, which proved to be a bit of a mistake as they kept falling off when you looked down. We persevered for a couple of months and then I thought I'd phone Sennheiser customer service and see what could be done. Well, they not only had a solution.......... but sent a set of over-ear replacement pads the next day.......... free of charge. This is what you get when you use a really first rate company.

Hallo, ich habe unserem Opa der viel Fern sieht aber schlecht hört und immer schon Kopfhörer von Sennheiser benutzt diesen preiswerten ohne Ladestation wieder einmal nachbestellt.Die Bestellung war perfekt eingepackt und kanm in 2 Tagen und konnte sofort benutzt werden da ladestation ja schon da ist wurde nur der alte ausgetauscht ein Knopfdruck und Opa hat den Fernsehton wieder im Ohr. Gut ist das man wenn man möchte auch einzelene Ersatzteile schnell bekommt wie neue Bespannung der Hörmuschel aber wenn man den jeden Tag anhat kann man ruhig sich mal einen neuen gönnen und man hat auch noch Ersatz.Da die Hörmuschel nur auf den Ohren aufliegt und nicht ganz abschließt ist der Kopfhörer perfekt für längeren Hörgenuss.
