Quality Control is Critical
I purchased six of these pulleys/blocks to set up a trapeze/return system on my Hobie Cat 16. Ronstan and Harken blocks of this size generally run between $18-$22 apiece. They have micro-bearings and are rated for much higher loading than these blocks, but I only need them to act as rollers for a bungee (4) and trapeze harness trolley (2). The upper part of the trapeze trolley is a Clamcleat CL253.Five of the pulleys appear to be structurally sound. Upon inspection during installation I found that the "axle" for the bearing on the sixth was not seated properly in the chassis. Whatever assembly process is used to press the two pieces together did not take. Rather than send the piece back I was able to set a simple tack weld. It appears that has solved the problem, but buyer beware. Inspect all pieces prior to installation.

It's a pulley
it's a pulley. Line goes around the wheel. The wheel turns smoothly. It's durable, light, and smooth.

Great little blocks
Seems well made from good materials (316 SS, what look like delrin sheeve) and considerable cheaper than the Harken alternative.

Smooth and sturdy
Nice little pulley block for DIY kayak anchor trolley. Used to replace some brass & chrome ones from the local home improvement store that had plain steel axles and were rusting after a few weeks of use. These look to be much better and have noticeably less friction = easier to move the anchor and allows higher line tension.Good price, quality compares to Harken.

Quality marine pulley
This is a decent quality little pulley. I used it to make an anchor trolly on my kayak. No rust and smooth rolling after many uses. It’s only been used in fresh water. I used 1100 paracord which is the perfect size for this pulley.
