Purchased this item to place my Klipsch sub in a better spot so wires not running all over. Works as stated, simple set up, very happy.

Update April 2022: I've left my original review below to provide some perspective. One star was removed because my sub would never turn off. Discovered there was some subtle interference with my home network causing this issue which also made the sub make subtle thumping noises. The sub thought it was in use, because of the interference, which is why it would never shut off. Why? Essentially the WA-2 uses the 2.4 GHz band which is shared by many home devices. 2.4 GHz home network channels 1, 6 and 11 provide frequencies with no overlap with adjacent channels. I had networks using all 3. Turned them all off, listened to the sub and there was no longer any interference. Turned them on 1 by 1 and discovered my access point on channel 1 was causing the problem. Changed 2 of my furthest access points to be channel 11 and my central one to be channel 6. Now everything works without issue (since I no longer have any network using channel 1). Another option would be to test if your 2.4 GHz home network is causing the problem and convert it to 5.8 GHz instead. After I reconfigured my home network the sub powers down as expected and doesn't make any strange noises. Now added back a star for a 5 star review. Original review March 2022: Requirements - within 50ft of your receiver, have power, a "WA' port on the back of your sub. For the money this unit is great and allows more choices in sub placement. Just make sure your Klipsch sub has a "WA" port on the back. Installation is simple. Install receiving unit on your sub and plug into the "WA" port. The only power you'll need is the power to your sub. The receiving unit is provided power via the "WA" port. Then install transmitting unit on your receiver. I used both the L/R pre amp outputs on mine. A warning indicates you have to use L/R - I'm not sure if you could use LFE or not. This transmitting unit has a power adapter which must be plugged into house power. Then when both units are powered on the first time they should find each other automatically. Sound seems fine but I'm not a "reference" level listener. One complaint is the standby feature doesn't seem to work using this. The sub stays on all the time (even after 15-20 minutes - based on the LED on the sub) when there is no signal. Not sure if this is by design or not. I assume it's by design since the sub provides power to the receiving unit. It would be nice if the sub went into standby while only providing power to the receiving unit. Overall very happy and think it is worth it.

Pretty good solution to not having cables running around my living room for my subwoofer and price wasnt bad. Hook up was fairly straight forward but that WA connection on the sub can be a pain if you dont line up the pins correctly. If you dont, you run the risk of ruining the pins. Sound is good, time correction on my receiver helped with any lag in response. My one bugaboo with this thing is the sub connection. Yesterday I lost pairing on it and took me a few minutes to repair but I did have to pull the WA connection on the actual sub which I was hesitant to do as it can be a pain to reconnect. Other than that, great product and has worked really well.
