This was a good match for the extensive touch up I needed to do on my used Corolla with significant paint issues. The black is a good match for the Toyota 209 color code I got off the drivers side door panel. I appreciate the abrasive tip for eliminating rust prior to applying the base coat. I also like that there is clear coat included in the same pen. The choice of fine pen vs brush is nice so you can apply the proper amount with precision. I then did some wet sanding with 1000->2000->3000 grit sandpaper and then finished up with rubbing compound and polish to completely hide the original damage. Worked great and expect it to hold up well and protect my car body for years to come.

Looks really good and convincing on my 2019 RAV4 XSE with gloss black wheels. After sanding down the curb rash a little bit to level the surface, the black paint was super easy to apply with either the pen tip or the brush. The clear coat hides the everything really well! The key is to sand down a little bit of the surface flat in order for the newly painted surface to be convincing (or use a surface primer). I have to search hard to find where it was previously scuffed up. Highly recommend it!

A tree fell on my car, and while there was little damage that I couldn’t fix myself (other than to my windshield) it left me with quite a few dents and scratches in the paint. This has been great to deal over any exposed areas (that keep popping up!) until I can repaint the whole car. In some places, you can definitely tell I’ve done a little touch up, because I haven’t used any clear coat on top, but if your main concern is sealing to prevent rust, then it’s perfect
