An incredible watch that serves the outdoor sports community
As my 3 pasions in life are trail running, mountain hiking and general hiking this watch is ideal. The navigation mode on this watch is outstanding. Why should you buy this watch:If you run ultras. If you trail run long distances. If you hike mountains. If you want to explore new areas. You want to hike new trails without getting lostIf your not bothered about a watch syncing to your phone. You want a HR monitor that can monitor your heart in the water. You want a watch with long battery life. You want a watch that connects with GPS in seconds. Why shouldn't you buy this watch:If you want a heart rate monitor on the watch it's self (on the watch strap)If you want a fitness tracker rather than a dedicate sports watch. If syncing to your phone is important (this watch does sync to your phone but it's a really unreliable at doing so)If your a road runnerIf your someone thats aiming to run marathon distance (cheaper options out there)This watch is a great all round sports watch especially paired with the HR monitor. It's rugged and is a watch that is clearly designed to serve the outdoor community. A watch that ozzes the scent of adventure.I love this watch as it's suited to someone with my interests and hobbies.I would give it 5 stars however it's 4 due to the phone syncing. This isn't a deal breaker for me as I use the lap top to plan my routs etc etc anyway. It syncs real quick when plugged in via USB. It would however be more convenient to sync to phone.

Synching doesn’t work
Watch looks really nice and has a really solid chunky premium feel to it. It operates well and is easy to use whilst running. However I just could not get it to synch with my phone and Strava. Tried everything. Had to send it back and buy another Garmin

Wicked Awesome Tech
Being a diver, I already use Suunto tech and own the Vytec DS dive computer. It has never let me down so I'd thought I'd give this thing a go.... I am not disappointed! It is super light and not uncomfortable albeit with the GPS antenna offset on the wrist, you don't even know it's there. The screen is basic in terms of colour but can be inverted from light dark. It has a multitude of modes and data readouts as well as many customizable areas. From the Movescount site, you can download user apps that are more tailored to your activities such as snowshoeing or kayaking for example. Battery life is phenomenal in all respects, bearing in mind gps grinds battery life down fast. I am comparing the battery life to my fitbit blaze. Charging with the included cable is a breeze and quite fast. Lastly I had thought the heart rate monitor strap would be a nuisance but is quite comfortable and a helluva lot more accurate that the wrist sensors on most of the trackers. Also if you're into swimming and triathlons, no problem, the strap and sensor are waterproof as well as the tracker to 100 meters. This thing is so chock full of features you could ramble on for quite awhile, all in all a fantastic piece of tech for any athlete or outdoor person. So from down into the deep blue sea and up into the big blue sky Suunto has me covered.

I like this watch
PROS: The GPS is very accurate. It displays trail maps very well. Monitors heart rate and tracks my steps quite well. I find it to be fairly intuitive to use. It feels rugged but doesn't look it.CONS: Can't display a preset trail map and track your stats at the same time (unless I'm doing it wrong). The black metal finish is a little prone to scratching. Some features are not so intuitive. It's slow to sync with phone. Conclusion: I like this watch. It does almost everything I need it to do. It's priced well and delivers!

Very good watch
It's a pretty awesome watch. The only thing I don't like is the stop watch, it is laggy comparing to casio watches and only 1/10th.
