Will these fit a tri fold vinyl like rush - all the world's a stage or rush - archives?

I just put my copy of Rush's All The World's a Stage tri-fold vinyl in one with no problem. I'm honestly surprised to read answers claiming that double albums don't fit. I just received my order today and they have thus far fit all of my albums, including several thicker double LPs that wouldn't fit in the last covers I had. They are a little snug for some of the thicker ones, but they're not so snug that you end up ripping half of 'em trying to fit 'em in (like the last ones I used). I was nervous ordering these because of the comments that they didn't fit double-LP's, but I decided to take my chances because other people said they fit double-LP's just fine. I was happy to find that my experience was consistent with those who said these were big enough.

Is the opening of the outter sleeve at the opening of the record or do you have to take the sleeve off to get the record out?

Depends on how you insert your album. The outer sleeve has an opening on one side. I have mine inserted so I can slide the album out while leaving the outer sleeve intact on my album cover/sleeve. Some folks choose to rotate the outer sleeve so the open end of their album sleeve is protected from dust. I prefer the easier access.

How do you get rid of the after film the plastic leaves on your fingers?

Interesting question. I have had no problems with these sleeves leaving any film or residue of any sort on my hands (or anything else).
