SportimeMax Tetherball, Multiple-Color - 016580

This ball seems very durable & my daughter loves the bright colors and the texture / material feel. First off, keep in mind it's not inflated, so you'll need a pump with an inflation needle attachment. It does come with the rope, but not a clip for the pole end. So you'll need to order that separately if you don't have one (I found just one source here on Amazon; the clip was under $6, & it's of good quality). The rope is threaded through the metal clip that's embedded in the ball, but it isn't tied off. I didn't find an official knot to use when searching "tetherball knot" or other variations on that. I did find videos for a "buntline hitch", which is simple if you pay close attention, & which seems to be a good choice for this application. Overall I'm very happy with the quality and value of this ball. If it fails prematurely I'll update my post.

Oh my gosh y’all! My dog loves this!! We tied it to a branch and let it hang. He goes crazy over it! He will bump it with his nose and front paws. And chase it around and around for hours. It is a great way for him to get exercise ina short amount of time. Plus it is super fun to hit it around yourself. 😂 It’s super sturdy and think. I don’t worry about him tearing it up even though he is a big dog

We have had this set up in the Florida sun for a couple of months now with a large tire as the base so we can move it when mowing. My 3 children (5,5, 10) all enjoy knocking this around. Looks and feels new still.

This ball is very sturdy. The only oroblem is very hard to attach to the rope. Rope is thicker then hole it has in ball. But the ball is great. It should have a hook on rope to attach ball to to make it easier.

I purchased this to replace an old tetherball that had worn out. It was easy to install, I just had to cut the rope because it was pretty long. Kids and adults were playing the game and no one complained of the ball being too hard as I had seen in so other reviews. I like the colors and feel it will hold up to my expectations.
