So pretty i loved it

It is not authentic. The logo on the one I got is not straight so the manufacture is poor. You have to press very strong on the keyboard for the ink to be transferred to the paper. It looks good as a design, but don’t expect to write too much. The only thing that bothers is the twisted logo. The delivery was excellent though.

I bought this typewriter for distraction-free writing. It's great just for that. You need to be careful with the ribbon area. I had to send back my first machine because the ribbon messed up. I switched it out, and it messed up again. The reversing mechanisms weren't working. Even when I was typing, it jumped ahead with the ribbon and then I'd have to open it back up to try to wind it back. But my second machine? Works beautifully. I've been writing one of my novels on it between rushing to work on my grad thesis. Don't let some bad reviews deter you from buying one—it is fantastic if you're a writer.

I’ve wanted a new typewriter since I left mine when I moved out of my parents house 20yrs ago. How hilarious is that!?? I bought this one because of the royal brand and I love it. It’s seriously beautiful. I’m definitely an aficionado with zine nostalgia but I think this would be so amazing for any burgeoning typist. I love it!

Kind of difficult to review typewriter tape. It is as described and quality seems great. We'll have to see if it holds up over time.

The red typewriter is beautiful and types very well too. The look and feel and weight are great! Delivery is also very fast.
