ZEAK 5500 lb Synthetic Rope Winch, with Wireless Remote Bracket, Handlebar Switch, for ATV UTV Powersports Off Road

Looks great, Installation was easy, everything works even the remote. This is my first winch so I’m new to this. The owners manual says nothing about re winding the synthetic rope using a 500 lb. weight, only to do it with a steel cable. I know from watching other videos that this needs to be done otherwise the rope will slip in between the other layers when under load.I didn’t realize that the synthetic rope would actually flatten out on the drum under load. Reading other articles I guess this is normal. I also read where a guy wound up his rope on an angle going across the drum and then changing the angle going the other way. He did this so the rope had no chance of slipping between the ropes under load. I thought this was a good idea so I did it with mine.I’ll have to update this after I use it in the spring, as it’s the middle of February in Wisconsin and everything thing is frozen.

The winch works fine but I wish the remote receptacle would have been hard mounted instead of just dangling by the wires. It could be easily torn loose from control connections.

This product was exactly what I needed are used at the pool several cars in the side of a trailer with it. It worked great.

The media could not be loaded.  This winch did a great job with my 3500# jeep loading and unloading off a trailer. It was just the right speed to easily control the loading and unloading and I may use it even if the jeep can drive in it’s own since it was much easier to control the placement on my small trailer. I really like the rope style vs wire. The remote control is extremely helpful. I replaced the cotter pin on the hook with an easier to remove pin so I can take it on and off the trailer. Since I mounted the winch on a plate I purchased longer bolts at Lowe’s. I cut off the cloth abrasion sleeve since it was binding up the final winding and making the rope hard to remove after use. I went to Walmart and purchased battery mounts for the positive and negative leads. I would recommend this. Also, zeak has emailed me asking how it was working. I was pleasantly surprised by the personal email.

So easy to install, it was mounted on a CanAm Maverick, it has been used several times now and no issues. I like the wireless remote feature and also the hard wire switch.

The media could not be loaded.  This winch comes with all the needed parts. The mounting plate, fairlead, and most important to me, a synthetic cable. I really wanted portability so this particular winch was light enough and powerful enough, and with a pulley block can exceed my needs. Using lots of ties, the strain can be taken off the connections. BTW, I would not have done this without having stumbled across the Spartan Power battery clamps that provide power on both sides of each clamp with a heavy ribbon of copper. Without those clamps I would have used lugs to connect directly to battery. This setup allows me to install or remove the winch with only two steps, insert hitch and attach battery clamps, and ready to pull. Also, I can move it to my other truck as needed. I am very satisfied with the quality of this winch so far. Yes, I would buy this again if needed.
